This weekend, we joyfully gather as a parish community to honor our patroness, Saint Monica, with a series of celebrations filled with food, fellowship, service, and gratitude.
We begin on Friday, August 22, with Food Truck Night on the Hilton Schoolyard from 5:00–9:00 p.m. Bring your family and friends for a festive evening featuring a diverse lineup of delicious food trucks, live music, and plenty of time to relax and connect with fellow parishioners. It’s a fun way to kick off the feast weekend!
On Saturday, August 23, join us for St. Monica Serves, our parish-wide day of service. Parishioners of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves and share Christ’s love through service at food pantries, shelters, and nonprofits across Los Angeles. There are still spots available, so don’t miss this chance to make a difference—sign up today at stmonica.net/serves.
Finally, on Sunday, August 24, our community will come together for the Feast Day Mass at 9:30 a.m., followed by a joyful Parish Picnic on California Avenue. We’ll celebrate our parish’s spirit of generosity and give thanks for all who make our ministries possible.
The Feast of Saint Monica is a special time to rejoice in the life of our patroness and the vibrant faith of our parish community. Mark your calendars and come celebrate with us all weekend long!
